Who Is Neriah?
After reading Shahrazad Ali’s infamous ‘Blackman’s Guide to Understanding the Blackwoman”, in the 90's, Neriah Shiloh was born. An activist who stands up for black men and boys and works against women who try to diminish their value. Neriah is known for her significant following on TikTok and her increasing visibility on other social media platforms.
Neriah has appeared on “The DailyRapUpCrew Podcast” twice, her most recent appearance on the show was the controversial topic “Trans Women vs. Biological Women” that interview received over 415K views on IG. She has also appeared on “I Never Knew TV” a prominent YouTube channel with over 500K subscribers. Neriah’s interview “Neriah Shiloh On Why Women Struggle Accepting The Truth, Son-Husbands And Black Men Needing Empathy” had 106K views in its first month, with subscribers asking for a Part 2.
While she is bombarded with criticism from women who label her as a "mammy" or "pick me,”
Neriah embraces the "Pick Me" title, wears it as a crown and badge of honor, standing up against detractors. Her resilience and strong spirit stems from her unwavering faith in GOD and being a South Side Jamaica Queens native.
Her outspoken personality and quick wit, has resulted in her social media accounts being banned numerous times. Hence, her recently starting her YouTube Channel. Her story is relevant to the broader conversations around race, gender, and activism that her work contributes to. With a passion for her people she continues the legacy of Sister Ali and provides "cheat codes" for men to understand the behavior of black women with the hopes of women learning how to be accountable and mending the fences between black men and women.
